Truth Vs. Error
One God Vs. Three Gods

There are some that argue that there is more than One God, and this is one of the greatest fallacies that could have ever been conjured up by the adversary.  This has become an indelible mark upon the church as a whole and it is my aim to straighten as many kinks out as possible.

Error: There are three Gods and Jesus is one in the Godhead....

Truth: God is a Spirit --- John 4:24
God is not a man ----Numbers 23:!9
No one can see God's face and live ---Exodus 33:20

Why have I given you these foundational scriptures in the beginning?  To lay an established ground as to who and what God is.
Many people that argue in favor of multiple god's think of God as a physical form (i.e. not Spiritual).  Not realizing that God possesses a Body, Soul, and Spirit has left many wandering in the dark.  To establish this doctrine we must first outline who God is!

First -- God is a Spirit  (John 4:24)
Second -- God is invisible (Exodus 33:20)
Third -- God is the Alpha and Omega (Rev. 21:6-7)
Fourth -- God created all things (Genesis 1:1)

These foundational principles are clearly outlined in scripture, only the disorganized eye, and the blinded mind cannot see this truth....

Let's start with the first principle:

God is a Spirit - To argue, as some do, that there are three separate and distinct gods based upon Genesis 1:26 when God said, "Let us make man in our image and in our likeness," is a fallacy...why?

Those that try to prove a trinity on this scripture, attempt to capitalize on the terms, "us and our."  They believe that us and our are validating points to prove that there was more than one in heaven when God determined to create man.  Some even believe that God may have been speaking to angels, while others believe that God was speaking from a kingly, plural form of singularity.  While these thoughts are interesting to ponder, it does not negate the simplicity of the gospel.

Now let me give you the true reason as to why it is indeed error to base a trinity or polytheistic faith upon this scripture.

How many of us are walking spirits?

How many of us walk around invisible?

The answer to this question should be a simple, "none."  Had God created us in this aspect of his appearance only, we would have all been invisible; however, seeing things deeper and more complete, He is just in His declaration, "Let us."  In my understanding, he neither referred to angels, nor did He refer to other distinct gods.  He referred to His attributes of a Soul, Body, and Spirit --- this is the likeness to which God refers.

When you look upon God, you will not see His Soul because no one can see His Spirit and live (Ex. 38:20)
You will not see His Spirit because it too is invisible (Colossians 1:15)
You can see His BODY!  For His body is the image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15)

The only way you can see God, is to look upon His Image ---- Image is Jesus Christ!

Consistently through out scripture, God conveys His awesomeness...

He declares, I am Alpha and Omega (Revelation 21:6)

The word proclaims, "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth."  (Genesis 1:1)

These are just two examples, but on and on, He confirms our faith, ensuring that we do not swerve in our committment to His truth that there is One God!

The interesting thing to note is that Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, makes the same declaration, saying....

"I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end." (Acts 1:8)
For by him [Jesus], were all things created.  (Colossians 1:15-16)

The question is....how could there be more than one Alpha?  How could there be more than one Creator?

And before you say it, the Bible says that Jesus created all things in heaven and in earth -- he created every principalitiy and every power (Colossians 1:15-16)

The truth is, there is but One Creator -- manifested in the flesh, but Eternal in His Spirit -- He is the God with a Body, Soul, and Spirit.

The Son of God is the beginning of the Spirit's creation!
The Spirit made a body!
The Spirit dwells in the body!
The Spirit made the body it's headquarters -- to abide, to create, and to form all things
This is officially God's headquarters - - no wonder He is "the fullness of the Godhead!" (Colossians 2:8-9)

Jesus was never mistaken about who and what He was ---
He told Phillip, when you see me you see the Father!   -John 14:8-9
Thomas fail down and worshipped Him, saying my LORD and my God!
Paul said to Jesus, "who are you Jehovah God?"  Acts 9
Jesus said, I am in the Father, and the Father is in me!
He said, "I and my Father are One!

Not just One in purpose, but one in existence ---  As you cannot separate your body, soul, and spirit----nor can Jesus Christ!

He is Father in Creation, Son in Redemption, and Holy Ghost in Supernatural activity!

God said, they shall look up me, whom they have pierced....Zecharaiah 12:!0
Jesus was pierce in his side for our redemption (John 19:34) -- Man can now see God on the cross ---He is God's image!

Did you know that God had a body that could die?
He declares that when his dead body dies, that many people would be resurrected!  (Isaiah 26:19)

Who fulfilled this?

Jesus fulfilled this when his dead body rose up from the grave and many old saints that were dead arose with him (Matthew 27:52)

Oh yeah?!  Who raised Jesus from the dead?
Some say God raise Jesus from the dead, but others say He rose himself from the dead....

John 2:19 "Jesus said destroy this temple and in three days, I will raise it up."  Powerful

Peter said, "whom God has raised from the dead." (Acts 4:10)

What does this tell us?  Jesus is God's Body!  Jesus is and was God!  Jesus' mind and God's mind are one, not in purpose, but in existence....Can you separate your mind from your soul and spirit? Nope...Then stop trying to separate Jesus' from the fullness of the Godhead!
