One of the biggest mistakes you can make is to seek validation from people. When you seek confirmation and validation from any other source than God, you may be setting yourself up for crippling discouragement. Sometimes you may be looking for that pat on the back or the comfort of hearing that you’re doing a good job and just may not happen. Remember, God is your validation, and He is your confirmation.
It is a very painful thing to be told you’re not good enough, that you're not qualified, or that you’re failing. Remember, just because people tell you’re not good enough, it doesn’t mean that it’s true. Sometimes people won’t validate you because they are jealous of you; sometimes they won’t validate you because they are afraid of your success. Seek your validation from the Lord.
When people tell you it’s not you’re calling, God will say I have ordained you to do it.
When people tell you that you don’t have the talent, God will say I formed you for this purpose.
When people tell you that you’re failing, God will say I have called you to success.
When people tell you that you won’t make it, God will say I have given you prosperity.
When people tell you that your life will be ruined, God will say I will resurrect you.
God is the oxygen that you breathe, God is the spirit of your life, God is the Source of everything you need and He is saying to you, Put Your Trust in the Lord, Not in Man. No one knows the end but God. Keep putting Him first in everything you do and He will never fail you.
God is saying to you…
Focus on me, not them.
Put your trust in me, not them.
Rely on me, not them.
Take my opinion, not theirs.
Follow my instructions, not theirs.
Walk with me.
Trust and believe in me. I will give you prosperity, success, and victory in the end.
