God Wants You to Move in Power and Discernment

Praise God, the Lord has anointed you not only to move in power but to walk in divine protection. Just as Jesus was led into the wilderness to be tested (Matthew 4:1), you will face moments when the enemy seeks to challenge your identity, twist the Word, and lure you with offers that seem good but lead away from God’s perfect will. This is why the anointing is more than an empowerment—it is your shield. The Spirit of God equips you to discern between His voice and the enemy’s whispers, so you may declare with confidence, “It is written…” and stand unmoved. Remember, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17), because you are anchored in the truth.

The enemy’s first strategy will often be to attack who you are in Christ. When Satan said to Jesus, “If thou be the Son of God…” (Matthew 4:3), he was not just testing hunger—he was testing identity. Likewise, you may face pressure to meet legitimate needs in illegitimate ways, to act outside God’s order, or to presume upon His promises without His leading. But God’s Word is your safeguard. “Study to shew thyself approved unto God… rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). When the adversary twists scripture, the Spirit will bring to your remembrance what is true, so you can discern and reject deception.

Leadership in the Kingdom requires humility, dependence on the Spirit, and obedience above personal gain. As Jesus refused the kingdoms of the world in exchange for compromise (Matthew 4:8-10), so must we treasure worship and integrity over influence and opportunity. Your greatest defense is to walk in the Spirit, for “Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts” (Zechariah 4:6). If you stay rooted in His Word, clothed in His anointing, and yielded to His Spirit, no temptation will overtake you that God has not already given you the victory over (1 Corinthians 10:13). You are called, equipped, and preserved to lead without deception, to discern without error, and to walk in the fullness of Kingdom authority.
