The Lord Wants You to Spend More Time With Him

The Lord wants to spend time with you. He created you to walk with Him, to talk with Him, and share the world with you. There is nothing higher than having communion with God, getting to know Him and learning His ways. The Lord Jesus Christ is calling you to an eternal fellowship and to the everlasting Royal Family. The time you spend with Him on earth reveals to Him how dedicated your heart is to Him and how serious you value your bond with Him.

The thing that gets in the way of your fellowship with God is the power of your human flesh. First, the enemy knows the weaknesses of your flesh and he brings temptations that cause you to focus on your problems; second, because you have so many desires, the flesh distracts you from taking time out with God daily; third, because the flesh is weak it often leads to laziness and keeps you from getting up to pursue God; lastly, because we battle with unbelief in the flesh, sometimes it’s hard to imagine the growth you can receive from talking to Spirit.

The Lord Jesus Christ is saying, don’t let anything separate you from the love of God. Keep talking with God and stretch yourself beyond the normal limits. The Lord is calling you deeper into prayer and deeper into fellowship. Those miracles you desire, God will freely give them to you if you are in relationship with Him. Those things you are pursuing everyday by earthly means, Jesus will bring them to you if you would believe that talking with God is the most important thing in the world. Those barriers that stand in your way, God will get rid of them, if you will walk around them calling upon His glorious name every day.

Everything you desire and hope for is already yours through your relationship with Jesus Christ. In order to bring it into this world you simply need spend hours in God’s presence. Soak in His presence, cry out in His presence, travail in His presence, dance in His presence, Sing in His presence. Miracles are going to be birthed simply because you spend devoted time talking and worshipping in the Holy Spirit.
