You Are Chosen to Be One With God, Forever!

Jesus prayed that you and I would be one with Him. “I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one” (John 17:23, KJV). This is the mystery of the Gospel—that through Christ, the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in you, uniting you with the fullness of God Himself. This is why He died, why He rose, and why He sent back His Holy Spirit—to reconcile you back to Himself. And He did it all for free, because He loves you.

This life is not random, it is a divine test. You are given a short span of years—a vapor compared to eternity—to prove that you want to have a relationship with the Lord. The angels were created without choice, but God gave you free will. Why? So He could know prove who truly believes in Him. “Choose you this day whom ye will serve” (Joshua 24:15, KJV). Your life is like a seed—small in time, yet holding the potential of eternal harvest.

Think of it—Jesus didn’t come for Himself. He had no need of power, authority, or glory, for He already was God from everlasting. Instead, He came to take back what man had lost.

He came to bless you!

He came to comfort you!

He came to deliver you!

He came to empower you!

He came to give you back everything the devil stole from you!

Where Adam failed, Christ prevailed. The enemy tempted Him on the mountain, but unlike Adam, Jesus said “It is written” (Matthew 4:4, KJV) and chose holiness over compromise. He lived clean, pure, and flawless—not for His own sake—but so that you might have eternal life. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23, KJV).

I want you to understand the weight of what Christ has already done for you. The Word of God declares, “But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood” (Hebrews 7:24, KJV). Kings and presidents come and go, laws shift and constitutions amend, but Jesus Christ remains the same. His priesthood will never pass away, and because of that, you have a hope that will never fade. He is able to save you to the uttermost because He ever liveth to make intercession for you. Even now, He is praying for you, just as He prayed in John 17, that you might be one with the Father, kept in His love, and filled with eternal life.

Lift up your head and rejoice in being chosen. You were not picked by accident. You were redeemed, cleansed, and kept for an eternal purpose—to live forever with Him. All He asks is that you live for Him, walk in His will, and keep the faith. For “he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved” (Matthew 24:13, KJV). Hallelujah!
