Move with the Flow of the Spirit

Move with the flow of the Spirit. Follow the direction of God.

One of the most difficult things to do is to operate where you are not fully appreciated. When you understand your value it is very difficult to accept positions and places that you feel overqualified. Sometimes it becomes easy to sulk and get in your feelings about your current state, but never forget what Jesus did. He was overqualified to come into the earth and live like a man. He was overqualified to be treated like a servant. He was overqualified to deal with the mundane and day to day hassles. On one occasion, being frustrated with the people, He asked, “how long shall I be with you, how long shall I suffer you?” Yet, He was still patient, He still accomplished the will of the Father, He still remained in that earthly ministry for 3 ½ years; not to do His own will, but to do the will of the Father.

We must learn, as Jesus taught, to do the will of the Father. Just because the jobs is unappealing, it doesn’t mean we move in a different direction. Even if you are overqualified and demand more pay and respect, you should remain faithful to the assignment that the Almighty has called you to. No matter how you feel about where you are, the true question should be, “How does the Father feel about it?”

As long as God has directed you, remain in position. Learn to be longsuffering and humble. Learn to be wise and stable, not seeking your own will but the will of the Father that has sent you. After you have completed your assignment and endured your cross, God will elevate you to the place He has ordained. Speedily you will be drawn and caught up to where you have been ordained to be. God makes you endure the tests to be ready to sit in the heavenly places. Your current position is growing you and developing you for the next place.

You have been planted that your tree might blossom.

You must visualize how your branches will spread in the future.

You must envision how your farm will span the earth.

You must see the plan how God sees it.

Your influence cannot be limited, or stifled.

You must realize your presence will bring great salvation to those around you.

You must understand that every year will yield a 100 fold impact around the world.

You must be patient and gain the platform, wisdom, and riches because of your willingness to go.

I love when you said “God made you to endure the tests to be ready to sit in the heavenly places”. If we only knew the beauty of what was on the other side of that pain, test, trial, and tribulation, I believe we would endure, because we know what we’re getting from it. Even if we don’t, we have to move in faith and trust that we will see God’s promises! Thank you for this!
